Real Estate Where Turtles are your Neighbors…
Turtle season is here once again, and what better way to celebrate than with a baby turtle release on Garza Blanca’s beach in Puerto Vallarta. This past August 25th, Garza Blanca homeowners and hotel guests watched in awe as more than 150 baby sea turtles were released back into the ocean. The turtle release was led by Garza Blanca’s activity team, who take an active role in protecting turtle eggs laid on Garza Blanca’s beach in conjunction with Mexico’s authorities, Semarnat in Puerto Vallarta. Semarnat is the authoritative body in charge of protecting endangered species and they do everything possible to make sure the precious eggs of mother turtles are kept safe, monitored and released under the highest of protection, security and respect in Puerto Vallarta. As always, the release at Garza Blanca Beach was highly controlled: no camera flashes were allowed, and the activities staff made sure all measures were taken so that the turtles had a safe path to their future.
