This past November 5th, Garza Blanca Signature Residences Real Estate Division held another successful complimentary wine tasting at Blanca Blue Restaurant, located on the beachfront at Garza Blanca resort, Puerto Vallarta sponsored by TPF Wine Company with their Sommelier Miguel Jauregui Ramirez. On this occasion, Real Estate Director, Nicole Martin was delighted to welcome special guests from the board of directors of the Eagles Wings Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money for various charities in Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and Cancun, as well as notable Puerto Vallarta realtors and business owners.
The free wine tasting hosted by the Signature Residences real estate division takes place each Thursday afternoon, by reservation only, inviting locals and visitors to come and experience Garza Blanca resort while networking and trying some great wines. This week was a special session, welcoming various board members from the Eagle’s Wings Foundation including Jack and Dolores Underwood, Bill and Judy Brine, Deb and Ron McPherson, and Gert and Heidi Baumann, all of whom joined Garza Blanca’s sommelier to sample a variety of wines as alongside some meat and cheese dishes served by Blanca Blue’s chef.
The honored guests requested a tour of the brand new Hotel Mousai and our Garza Blanca real estate model, so Nicole took them on a guided tour following the tasting. Upon reaching the rooftop of Hotel Mousai, with its stunning infinity pool that is located more than 367 ft (110 meters) above sea level, a notable silence ensued as the guests took in the beauty of the highest rooftop view of Banderas Bay as they stepped out of the elevator.
The Eagle’s Wings Foundation is a non-profit organization which was conceived by the late Jim McCarthy in 1999, with the support of Garza Blanca’s owner and his business partners at the Villa Group Resorts. The altruistic foundation receives donations, in kind gifts and volunteering to support a variety of local projects, such as giving scholarships for schooling, providing educational materials and allocating grants for ongoing established grass root charities in Puerto Vallarta. To date, the Eagle’s Wings Foundation has granted over one million dollars both in-kind and cash donations to local charities. Garza Blanca residents and guests are invited, in any way they wish, to support this foundation which is close to the hearts of the founder of Garza Blanca and his wife who is currently the President of the charity.
Joining the complimentary wine tasting were Puerto Vallarta real estate representatives from Coldwell Banker, Nancy Valente, Angelica Chavez and Nancy Valente. Sarah Stewart administrator of Admin Homes Property Management also joined in the tasting along with Sleep Well´s Michelle Mayer Fulfer and Joe Jack’s Restaurant owner, Ana Uribe.
