The 23rd International Gourmet Festival will be held in Puerto Vallarta on November 10th through November 19th, 2017. Several restaurants and hotels in the area, including the Garza Blanca Resort & Spa and Hotel Mousai, will be taking part. During this ten day celebration, foodies from all over the world will be able to attend the events in this popular gourmet festival that takes place every year in Puerto Vallarta.
Special Guest Chefs at Garza Blanca and Hotel Mousai
As part of the Puerto Vallarta Gourmet Festival, Garza Blanca Resort & Spa and Hotel Mousai will welcome three guest chefs to accompany the resident chefs, Mario Castro from Blanca Blue, Alvaro Cortez from BocaDos STK, and Chef Carlos Leyva from Hiroshi. Chef Victor Padua, Alexander Branch, and Chef Oscar Gonzalez will join the resident chefs respectively, sharing their culinary knowledge and expertise while creating signature menus that will be served at each of the restaurants during the Gourmet Festival. From November 11th through November 19th the delicious dishes will be offered on the menu.
A Delicious Feast for Foodies
In addition, a special event will be held on November 12th at 5:30pm on the beach. There will be seven serving stations manned by the seven experienced chefs who will create gourmet cuisine as the sun sets. Delicious cuisine along with amazing drinks and live music will also be provided for this festive special event. The delicious feast will include succulent cuts of meats, Japanese delicacies, and fresh Mexican flavors as well as something for sweet-toothed visitors. The drinks include fine wines, mezcal, tequila and sake amongst others. Guests can sip on their drinks while their taste buds are indulged.

The Puerto Vallarta Gourmet Festival was first established in 1995 by culinary favorites Chef Heinz Reize and Chef Thierry Blouet joined in 2000 by Chef Roland Menetrey. These culinary visionaries have been drawing attention to the Puerto Vallarta food scene ever since. The Gourmet Festival in Puerto Vallarta has continued to grow since 1995 and foodies worldwide plan their vacations around the event. The International Gourmet Festival has been delighting and impressing nearly a half a million of foodie attendees and the credit goes to the amazing skills and talents of the guest chefs that have been featured, several of whom are Michelin celebrities.
