International Film Festival Puerto Vallarta 2020
More than 40 films are participating in this year’s International Film Festival Puerto Vallarta 2020. Organized by the Centro Universidad de la Costa (CUC), the festival showcases Mexican and Latin American films and helps promote the appreciation, dissemination, promotion and distribution of Latin American cinema. Inaugural Film Festival – 1995
The first festival took place in 1995, with a small sample of Mexican films. Each year, the festival slowly grew and later evolved into an annual International Festival. The event is free of charge for the public. Both local residents and visitors should attend. Special awards will go to individuals who have made significant contributions in the industry.

The “Iguana de Oro” award is the FICPV’s highest award. Likewise, the Iguana de Oro award will go to distinguished personalities in the cinematographic world.
