Come celebrate with Garza Blanca and Hotel Mousai at the 5th annual Hecho en Mexico event which will be hosted from May 4th to May 31st at the Garza Blanca Preserve Resort in Puerto Vallarta. Once again, the “Made in Mexico” event is categorized into 4 areas including Gastronomy, Fashion, Music and Art. Every week, an entertaining and exciting event will kick off the week’s celebrations where one area will be showcased. Here is what you can look forward to seeing at this year’s Hecho en Mexico 2019:
Music Week
Starting on May 4th through May 10th, Music Week will include a major concert featuring an impressive local orchestra. Live music including Mariachi, Marimba and Trio will be showcased, along with spirited and vibrant folkloric dancers that will impress guests.
Art Week: May 11th – May 17th
May 11th through May 17th, Art Week will showcase painting and sculpture exhibitions featuring talented artists, painting workshops, blown glass demonstrations, as well as clay figurines and authentic Huichol art for sale.
Fashion Week: May 18th – May 24th
Fashion Week from May 18th to May 24th will captivate attendees with an innovative fashion show that every fashionista should see. Workshop topics include how textiles are processed, belt embroidery instruction, hat displays, and beautiful and traditional Mexican jewellery will be available for sale so visitors can purchase a piece of wearable art.
Gastronomy Week: May 25th – May 31st
Last, but not least, Gastronomy Week from May 25th to May 31st will allow visitors to partake in several workshops such as chocolate making, artisanal cheese elaboration, instruction on how to prepare typical Mexican dishes, and of course who can forget wine and tequila tastings?
