The wonderful jungle scenes that surround the Garza Blanca Preserve make for a truly idyllic experience when enjoying a birdwatching tour. Garza Blanca’s expert tour guides will be able to take you on a gentle but inclusive tour of the surrounding preserve where you’ll be able to see all kinds of flora and fauna. This awesome bird watching tour begins on Garza Blanca beach where your guide will meet you. Your guide will then escort you into the mountains in search of the many different bird species that can be found in the area. The tranquil, tropical jungles of the preserve are full of different birds and you’ll be taught to distinguish between their songs and calls. Your guide will even be able to indicate distinct fruits, berries and other elements that the birds eat as well as point out nests and colonies of birds.
Everyone who takes the tour will be lent a brochure which includes pictures of the birds that are typically found in the area. You will also be given binoculars so that you can look a little more closely at the wildlife and scenery you pass and begin to, hopefully, match the birds with the pictures in the brochure.
