Making Puerto Vallarta your home, whether for a few months of the year or full time, is a big step, albeit exciting and inspiring. Private Hospitals in Puerto Vallarta

There are many wonderful private hospitals in Puerto Vallarta and any you choose will not disappoint. It all depends on location, price and the hospital which your doctor works with. At Garza Blanca, there is a doctor from San Javier hospital on site 24 hours a day to deal with any common ailments or first aid problems you may have; but should you need more serious medical care while staying as a guest or living as a resident in Puerto Vallarta, you have a variety of options.

San Javier Hospital

This hospital is known as being one of the top hospitals in Puerto Vallarta. It is located in front of the Marina on the main highway. This means there is easy access from either the north or south of the bay. The hospital is the equivalent to a number one trauma centre. The ICU is manned 24 hrs and the staff are mostly bilingual making it comfortable for expats. It has top of the range modern technology and facilities. Whether you’re having a baby or long term care this is one of the best options in Puerto Vallarta.

Amerimed Hospital

You will find US board trained doctors at Amerimed. It is open 24 hrs and offers emergency and urgent care. The trauma center places US trained paramedics in the ambulances which makes an emergency situation much calmer for those who can’t speak Spanish.

They also have an air service to Guadalajara and the United States.

Hospital Cornerstone

This is another great hospital that has modern technology and is the closest hospital to Garza Blanca Signature Residences. You will find MRI machines, CAT scans, dialysis and cardiac services. This hospital is a level IV trauma unit and the doctors are bilingual and except Canadian and U.S insurance.
