Swimming with Dolphin Tours in Puerto Vallarta

When it comes to experiences nothing quite beats swimming with dolphins for making unforgettable memories with friends and families. These are some of the brightest, most curious and friendliest of all the oceans mammals and there are literally hundreds of companies in Puerto Vallarta who can give you the opportunity to get to know them better. In fact, this is an enduringly popular activity all across Mexico.

Swimming with Dolphins in Puerto Vallarta

We know it’s as important to you as it is to us that the dolphins you have the pleasure of spending time with are happy, healthy and well cared for. This is why we recommend that you choose to avoid places where the dolphins are kept in small swimming pools, where they are cramped and poorly treated. It is recommended to use companies that specialize in the care of such animals – companies who have large spaces for them to swim in, or even companies that take you out to swim with wild dolphins.

What to expect

If you go for an experience with dolphins in captivity, then you’ll be able to swim with, hug, kiss and play with the dolphins – you might even be able to learn to communicate with them and help them finish a trick!

If you choose the alternative of using a company that seeks out wild dolphins then you won’t be able to do such things, and it’s possible you won’t get a photo, but the joy of seeing these creatures in their natural habitat is hard to match.

Tips for swimming with dolphins

When booking your dolphin experience we recommend that you book in smaller groups as this will give you more time with the dolphins, and that you don’t wear sunscreen as this can contaminate the water. If you treat these intelligent and kind creatures with respect and care they will help you to make wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.
